The following error occurs for patrons purchasing online when:

A) A patron has tried to click the password reset activation link twice. An activation link is a one-time token so can be used only once. If a patron clicks the link and does not update their password at the time and clicks the link later it will give that error. 

Solution:  Check with the patron to see if the error happened on the first click or retrying the link.


B) Some anti-virus/email spam software has opened the link first before it got to the patron, making the link stale. 

Solution: Ask the patron to copy and paste the link directly into their browser.
